Warren has been the Senior Pastor of the Cathedral of Worship and an international leader to the Body of Christ; releasing a crystal clear revelation put in his heart by the Holy Spirit which has impacted countless lives across the globe and compelling many to live a Kingdom lifestyle.
Profound thinker and author, E.L. Warren has written and published seven (7) books for the equipping of the Body of Christ; written several workbooks for the Institute of Victory, a Ministry School of Excellence for church leadership; and developed the L.O.C.K. manual (Leadership Orientation Class for the Kingdom of God) for new converts. He publishes a new Structure book annually to address the missing components in ministry protocol. His life-changing principles have been seen and heard on television and radio as he travels extensively bringing foundation, integrity, and excellence to the Body of Christ. E.L. Warren serves as Senior Advisor for the Sparkman Magazine, a publication distributed to over 700 churches in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. He has also written and published several songs of worship for Judah, artists, and choirs across the nation.
E.L. Warren has served on numerous boards including G.M.A.C. which is an outreach of Oral Roberts University; the Administrative Review Board of the Illinois Department of Corrections; the Adams County United Way Board; the Adams County Family Services Board; is a former member of Quincy Rotary East; and served on the Great Commission Radio Board. E.L. Warren served as an Advisor for the Women's Aglow of Quincy and in 1983 he was the recipient of Quincy's prestigious Jaycee's Top Young Religious Leaders Award for his ministry contributions to the city of Quincy. In 2013, E.L. Warren was appointed by Governor Pat Quinn to sit on the 15 member Board of Commission for the Illinois African American Family Commission.
After sixteen (16) years of teaching the Gospel, Bishop Warren was Affirmed and set apart to the five-fold office of Apostle to the Body of Christ, then consecrated to the office of Bishop in 1998 by the International Communion of Charismatic Churches (ICCC) College of Bishops by the late Archbishop Earl Paulk at the Cathedral at Chapel Hill in Atlanta, GA. Currently Bishop Warren serves as Secretary Treasurer on the College of Bishops within the ICCC under the leadership of Archbishop Kirby Clements. Alongside the leadership of Bishop Corletta Vaughn, Bishop Warren lends his insights and serves on the Sacred College of Bishops for Go Tell It Ministries Worldwide. Recently Bishop Warren was certified as an Associate Trainer for EQUIP and its Million Leader Mandate founded by Dr. John Maxwell whose mission is to equip leaders as change agents to change our world.
E.L. Warren's ministry extends beyond the walls of the local church and reaches the tri-states, the nation, and the world. By charging his members to embrace the Gospel message and challenging them to apply those practical, life-changing principles to their everyday lives, he has a passion to produce a people of excellence, victory, and power. As an extension of the local ministry, Cathedral of Worship serves twenty (20) prisons in four (4) states every week and have aided community students grades k-8 who have difficulties with learning through their individualized tutoring program, Vision Literacy Center. Additionally, Bishop Warren is the Chancellor for the Life Christian University extension campuses in Quincy, IL; Bloomington, IL: East St. Louis, IL; Springfield, IL; Milwaukee, WI; Memphis, TN and Tupelo, MS. He is the Presiding Prelate and the COO of the International Network of Affiliate Ministries (INAM) which serves fifty (50) ministries in four (4) countries of the world. Also, he is the CEO of the International Network of Affiliate Ministries of Africa (INAMA). With keen insight into the plan of God and His longing for the harvest, the Cathedral of Worship purchased 27.4 acres of land and laid out plans for the development of 27 newly constructed homes in partnership with local businesses and government, along with the development and construction of a state-of-the-art building for the Amazing Cathedral of Worship Church and Family Life Center which will provide recreation and health initiatives for the community.
Bishop Warren has been married since June 1978 to Ella Pearl (Rockingham) Warren. Their children are Valecia Warren, Dr. Malessa Warren, and Roderick Warren. Eddie Cardell Gaston is the oldest son of Bishop E.L. Warren. Bishop and Lady Ella currently reside in Quincy, IL where the ministry's corporate headquarters are located.
